Pencil on paper will not fade or blur normally when exposed to water drops or water. -The right hardness (H) can be important or just HB can also be right But if all papers stick together it's stil a problem. Though if written with a pencil more can be saved. A normal pen's ink on paper will blur and or fade completely when exposed to water or even simple water drops. But there are waterproof pens. And waterproof notebooks, exist.
